Advancing Clinical Career Ladder Level

Please note that the process to advance is completed in collaboration with CoNE and that all required documents are submitted electronically with the online advancement application to CoNE. 

Criteria to Advance from Clinician I to Clinician II:

• Attend and New Grad Resident (NGR) Classes 
• Successful completion of Manager Orientation Checkpoint (MOC) Packet
• Submission of portfolio to manager:
  • CCL Clinician I to Clinician II advancement form 
  • Resume 
  • NGR Program Completion Document 
  • Clinician I to Clinician II advancement readiness assessment tool 

Advancement Clinician III to Clinician V 

An applicant has the decision to pursue advancement to Clinician III - Clinician V. It is not expected that all staff will move through all levels. Each Clinician will move at their own developmental pace and advancement will occur one level at a time. Advancement is a two-part process: 

1. Submission 
2. Panel Interview

Required Eligibility documents:

• Attestation of Eligibility
• Resume / CV
• Specialty professional board certification 
• Professional organization membership  
• BSN or higher degree (proof of BSN enrollment for CCL level III)
• Council / committee participation /outcome form
• Other documents
